Sensibo Air vs Mysa Smart AC: Which one suits you?

Not every household needs the most feature-packed controller. If you’re choosing between the Sensibo Air and the Mysa Smart AC, here’s how they compare.

Price

The Sensibo Air is $159; the Mysa Smart AC is $139. A $20 difference. Both include all core features with no subscription required.

App Experience

Sensibo’s app is widely regarded as the best in the smart aircon category. Setup takes under two minutes, Climate React automations are easy to configure, and the daily interface is polished and fast. Mysa’s app is clean and straightforward — it covers scheduling, temperature control, and energy reporting without unnecessary complexity. Both are good; Sensibo’s is a step above.

Physical Display

The Mysa has a built-in LED display showing the current temperature and set point on the device itself. The Sensibo Air has no physical display — you’ll use the app or a voice assistant. If glanceable, phone-free temperature checks matter to you, Mysa is the only option here.

Apple HomeKit

The Sensibo Air supports HomeKit. The Mysa does not (it’s been announced as coming soon). If you’re an Apple Home user, this is a deciding factor.

Automation

Sensibo’s Climate React is a capable automation engine that responds to temperature and humidity thresholds. Combined with the optional Room Sensor, you can trigger automations based on conditions in a different part of the room. Mysa offers basic scheduling and temperature-based automations through its app but doesn’t have a comparable sensor accessory.

Ecosystem

The Sensibo Air can pair with the Sensibo Room Sensor for remote temperature and humidity readings. The Mysa is a standalone device with no accessories. Neither offers the broad ecosystem of a hub-based system like Aqara, but Sensibo has a slight edge with its sensor add-on.

Which one should you get?

Choose the Sensibo Air if you prioritise app experience, want HomeKit support, or plan to add a room sensor for smarter automations.

Choose the Mysa Smart AC if you want a physical display on the device, prefer a lower price point, or value a simple standalone product.
