About Aqara Door & Window Sensor T1
Mount the two battery-powered parts on a door or window. The sensor reports when they separate or meet and requires a compatible Aqara Zigbee hub.
Use that status for notifications or as an automation condition, such as pausing aircon control while a window is open. The sensor does not control an air conditioner by itself, and every action must be configured in the chosen platform.
